Sylvester Stallone or Harrison Ford?: Which mentor will they honor?

This is a simple question which deserves a simple answer; Stallone will win Supporting Actor and Ford can applaud I the audience as a guest but not a nominee.

Ford is back in Supporting on the Disney FYC site.

Not that it matters. It’s Stallone.

Sylvester Stallone, obviously. Harrison Ford was pretty weak this time around  IMHO.

Besides, the only Star Wars actor to ever get nominated was Alec Guiness as a name-check for the very first one. He was a previous Oscar winner for The Bridge over the River Kwai. Harrison’s only been nominated once, for riding on the Awards season coattails of Witness. If he gets nominated for here it’ll be a disgrace.

Have you all forgotten about Michael Douglas for his old, wise, KICK-ASS role in Ant-Man?! I think even HE has more of a shot, due to his family legacy, his previous Oscar wins for Producing OFotCN and as Best Actor for Wall Street, and him giving such a great performance, period.

ford would be a nice surprise but stallone has best supporting actor in the bag

I honestly don’t think enough voters will have seen Creed in order for Stallone to win. That doesn’t mean I think Ford could win either. I think it’s very likely that both of these actors will miss nominations in this especially crowded race.
