What is, in your opinion, the best film ever made set in your hometown?
Ps.: I case you live in a small city which doesn’t have a movie set there, you can say what is the best movie set in your home state.
My favorite movie set in Rio is actually Central Station (1998), but only the very beggining the film is set in the city so I won’t count it, instead I’ll say: City of God (2002)
Let’s use this thread as a fun way to recommend movies. I, of course, recommend my choice. Terrific film.
ReplyIt's about the chaotic editing in Moulin Rouge!

Skyfall too… but honestly I would have expected there to be way more. Lived here my whole life yet I continue to be in love with it.

The only other film that wasn’t Skyfall or Paddington that I could think of were Richard Curtis movies. And I only like one Richard Curtis film lol.
