Fair enough, I meant the next stage of awards season and I think of SAG as a separate thing. Even then I’d be wrong the Artios Awards nominations (the casting guild) were yesterday.

Blade runner. BOOM.

Didn’t mean to hit the like button.
3 Billboards is a dark comedy, I, Tonya is a dark comedy, Lady Bird is a dramedy. All belong in this category. Get Out has no business being nominated anywhere. So who cares. Baby Driver should be in drama.

Baby Driver should win.

Remember that Nightcrawler and Gone Girl got ACE nominations simultaneously, then neither ended up with more than a single Oscar nomination.
Hoping that I, Tonya over Best Picture contender The Big Sick means something, but it is probably just equivalent to Call Me by Your Name missing for Blade Runner 2049 and Molly’s Game because of flashier editing.
Nice thread title.

Even Room was too indie for them. We need to consider Molly’s Game because the ACE-PGA statistic is so strong, even covering stuff like Saving Mr. Banks and Sicario. I think that Phantom Thread is too inaccessible for WGA.
