Had she been campaigned in supporting, her chances would have been so much stronger. I think BA is way too stacked for Comer, who isn’t a big name to begin with and her movie is one of the biggest flops so far of the season. It doesn’t bode well for her.
Oh I definitely agree with you she would have a much better chance in supporting and would probably win. But they aren’t going to do that and I think she has a chance in lead even though it’s slim so I’m here for it! But would not be upset if they switched her to supporting (which they won’t)

The movie bombed, not flopped. Most people are loving it actually. With raves in her performance. Who knows… I still believe she has chances 🙂

Affleck and Comer overshadowed Damon and Driver, and Affleck was singled out by critics as the film’s male MVP. I know he got raves for his performance in The Tender Bar, but I’m skeptical about the response to the film itself. I like Clooney, but he’s hit or miss as a director.

Shooting wraps for Killing Eve tomorrow so Jodie will be free for campaigning until January when kitbag starts filming.
The big question is will Disney bother with a decent campaign.
