This is an idea I got from Twitter. Head to Letterboxd and see what the most popular film is that you haven’t seen in each of the last 10 years. You can start right here.

    Here are my choices…
    2017: Beauty & the Beast
    2016: Captain America: Civil War
    2015: The Witch
    2014: John Wick
    2013: Snowpiercer
    2012: Ted
2011: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
    2010: Black Swan
    2009: District 9
2008: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

    That’s a lot of films, but I can’t sleep so…

2017: I saw everything, but I will say I didn’t really pay attention to Darkest Hour.

    2016: saw them all

2015: Didn’t finish Black Mass or Legend

2014: Frank, Serena, Two days one night, Mr Turner.

2013: The Imigrant. Didn’t finish Ida. I hate that I never saw Mistaken for Strangers. Not sure if I saw de Arrested Development doc.

    2012: saw them all

    2011: Didn’t finish Pina.

    2010: saw them all.

    2015: Green Room
    2014: Big Hero 6
    2013: Prisoners

    2011: Source Code
2010: Scott Pilgrim vs. The World

I want to see Baby Driver, Green Room and Prisoners but just haven’t gotten around to it. The one that stands out the most to me is Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, which came out when I was in high school and seemingly literally everybody else in class saw but me. No reason for seeing it other than that my boyfriend really wanted to, but we never got around to it because neither of us had cars and he wanted us to walk the 5 miles to the theater, in the summer. I said no, broke up with him after two weeks, and he quickly got back together with his ex… who had, while they were dating the first time, tried to choke me in the stands during a football game because we had shared one (1) joke earlier and she got jealous… and they saw it together, so I boycotted it on principle. Wild. Times.

Note to myself: Don’t ever feed the trolls. Don’t get involved in others drama. Don’t let myself be swayed by others predictions, trust my gut more often!

Note to all others: If you don’t happen to like me, ignore me. It is that simple.

I’m going to use Box Office Mojo tallies, since that’s a broader (better) rendering of “most popular”. That said:

2017: THE FATE OF THE FUIROUS
    2016: SING
    2015: MINIONS
2014: TRANSFORMERS – AGE OF EXTINCTION
    2013: FAST AND FURIOUS 6
2012: THE TWILIGHT SAGA – BREAKING DAWN, PART 2
2011: TRANSFORMERS – DARK OF THE MOON
2010: THE TWILIGHT SAGA – ECLIPSE
2009: TRANSFORMERS – REVENGE OF THE FALLEN
    2008: TWILIGHT
