I’m fairly sure the film will be based on a Pauline Kael-type figure, but not actually concern Pauline Kael.

I love your casting suggestions but Tarantino may decide he needs a “bigger name” for his lead— if so, I think Frances McDormand might be amazing in the role. I’d pay money just to watch Tarantino and McDormand interact with each other during filming.

Claire Danes would be an interesting choice. It would be nice to see her back in film….she could really deliver in the right role (her work in Temple Grandin was Oscar worthy).

But I’d still like to see Winona Ryder or Jennifer Jason Leigh in a Tarantino film.
