I wanted to like that post so badly but then I saw Chastain there…

I miss her. But her politics and poor project selecting is ruining her.

Not even one single fucking nomination. Do they hate her?

Not really. Kirsten Dunst will hopefully earn one after ‘On Becoming a God in Central Florida.’

His competitive win is likely in the screenplay category.

And if she gets nominated for her RBG song and then loses to Lady Gaga’s song from A Star Is Born, after they were unable to win together a couple of years ago, it’ll really hurt (although I’m sure Warren will still be happy for Lady Gaga). I really hope things work out for her one of these years.

    Albert Finney

His performance in Erin Brockovich should’ve gotten him the Oscar.

Glenn Close will hopefully be rectified this year.
Sigourney Weaver was robbed for Gorillas in the Mist
    Samuel L. Jackson
    Finney as mentioned
    Barbara Hershey for sure

I´m surprised no one mentioned Samuel L. Jackson yet

When all these fans were bitching about Leonardo DiCaprio being snubbed for Django Unchained, I seriously wondered if they watched the same movie I did. I felt Samuel L. Jackson, if anyone, was robbed of a nomination.

As for Diane Warren, I think there’s enough members of the Academy who are turned off by her schmaltzy songwriting that she’ll never win unless she writes something different/better.

    Michelle Williams isn’t overdue. She’s 38.
