To be honest, I only picked up this early clue on the 3rd viewing.
So many little things you pick up on repeated viewings like George carrying Peter’s luggage when he moves in at college, Rose confiscating the paper flower arrangements, that opening line from Peter…

Coming for the Sound nomination!
Really hope it gets into sound. It made the shortlist but it’s a stacked category and the sound, whilst terrific, is not flashy
It’s in the shortlist of 10, could sneak into position 5. I still think it misses. If it gets into sound I think it’s looking very strong
Unfortunately I think TPOTD is more like Nomadland than Roma and will miss Sound. Roma got in Sound because basically everything else about the movie is muted (B&W, long takes) accentuating the sound.

Sound is very important in this movie, if you pay attention. I am not predicting it, but it would be awesome if it made into the top 5.
