Certainly enough people do for him to get an Oscar nomination.

The caption at the bottom left saying “WILL TIKTOK CHANGE THE OSCARS?” is sending me into hysterics.
ReplyCopy URLMarch 7, 2022 at 8:52 am #1204834772I finally made it through watching it. The first time, I had just gotten back home after a very emotional holiday/funeral. I thought maybe I wasn’t in the right frame of mind. So, I watched last night. OK, I will be the dissenter. I didn’t get/like it. I wanted to, but I didn’t. I had one friend that did and several that didn’t. One put it on par with The Killing of a Sacred Deer (btw she hated that movie) and another just fast forwarded. I like slow burn movies, I like indie movies, I just didn’t like this one. It looked beautiful though and Dunst and Plemons had nice moments.

I found the film mean-spirited and with a gruesome outcome.
But I LOVED the perfs. A varied and terrific ensemble.ReplyCopy URLThe Sunne in Splendour.
