It seems like WB paid for those reviews… Was it fun? Yes Was it better than the 2016 film? Absolutely Does it warrant the 96 percent on RT? Hell Nah 7/10
If 96% of reviewers give it a 7/10 then it’ll get a 96% on RT, it’s not an indicator that it’s a masterpiece.
Personally I thought the script was top tier for a CBM, but it’s really not the sort of thing the Academy goes for.

What Worked:
Bloodsport, Harley, Polka Dot Man, Peacemaker, King Shark, Ratcatcher
Good Script.The WTH:
I wanted to see more of the first team. Especially the weasel guy lol.
Ending was predictable (at least for me).My grade: 9/10

The first Blockbuster of the year that has blown me away. I am shocked at how much I like it.
The cast was incredible. Outstanding performances. Ratcatcher was a slight standout in an unforgettable cast. The costumes, make-up, cgi, production designs, and cinematography was on point.
5 out of 5 for me

I guess Grace Randolph is right with this movie

The cast truly sticks with me. I enjoyed ever-single-character.
ReplyCopy URLAugust 8, 2021 at 10:12 pm #1204387979The Suicide Squad is definitely an upgrade from the first iteration. It’s non-stop, high energy, fun with surprising heart. The cast of characters are full of personality & Gunn’s direction is visually impressive. However, the humor is hit or miss. When a film tries too hard to be edgy or funny, it can feel off putting. But overall, it’s worth the 2 hour experience.
ReplyCopy URLAugust 9, 2021 at 5:03 am #1204388296I am a Marvel fan, but that doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate a good DC movie. And I admit it, this one definitely was. It exceeded my expectations, and I enjoyed it quite a lot. We have a new rising star in the face of Daniela Melchior!! She was my favorite part of the movie. I hope she has a promising career ahead of her and I can’t wait to see what she does next.
ReplyCopy URLAugust 9, 2021 at 10:45 pm #1204389661Watched it 7/10, the pace was slow in the middle but I liked the ending, it was a typical James Gunn movie, nothing spectacular, too violent and that can make people back off from this movie.
