She might be a potential Best Supporting Actress nominee that we need to look out for.

Did anyone expect her to get the biggest raves? She’s been called the MVP which doesn’t bode well for Washington/McDormand winning

Ana de Armas, Julianne Nicholson - Blonde (Best Actress, Supporting Actress)
Samantha Morton - She Said (Best Supporting Actress)
Kerry Condon - The Banshees of Inisherin (Best Supporting Actress)September 24, 2021 at 1:59 pm #1204484148Yea but Hunter is also the type of underknown character actress that writers like to call MVP. It would sound kind of obvious to CALL washington the MVP. He’s still getting plenty of raves and I could see him win. McDorman will probably be nominated but i doubt she has a chance to win. Hunter could definitely get in with these reviews if enough critics rally around her
ReplyCopy URLSeptember 24, 2021 at 3:10 pm #1204484246Not that I’m expecting it, but I’d laugh if this turned out to be the one that hits all four acting categories (Washington-McDormand-Hawkins-Hunter) instead of Belfast.

The first review out cited him and lady mcduff but the majority are noting the other three and not so much him.

where did all these rumors of it being bad come from?
ReplyCopy URLSeptember 24, 2021 at 9:22 pm #1204484565I just saw this tonite not the Qand A one Bc I wasn’t going to pay $100 bucks.
first of all the movie is gorgeous to look at. The black and what cinematography is beautiful.
now, Frances can go either supporting or leading but I don’t see her winning either way. I’m a big fan of hers but at no point did I say to myself this is Oscar. If she goes lead , I can see her missing. While if she goes supporting and is slow category, I can see her getting nominated. Hopefully, I won’t eAt my own words come next year.
Now the actress that plays the witch is very good. However, I would say her screen time is 5 minutes at most or at least felt like that.
The third in screen time is Alex Hassell , he is great in role . Surprising that a big name was not used for role.

Now movie belongs to Denzel . He is charismatic and great in role. He definitely getting a nomination for Macbeth. He underplays role instead of going loud and big.Why are you reporting this post? (optional):Not now
