This just isn’t what I was expecting at all….looks better… Tilda’s accent is brilliant

Yep, I suspect it’ll get mixed reviews, but I hope it’s good. I don’t see it getting anything above the line for sure.

Babe, I checked the Cannes thread and while it might be divisive overall in the end the majority of response was very enthusiastic…this really could be a year where originality (along with EEAAO) is embraced over biopics and Marvel etc…

Looks as if George Miller’s film is on the Spencer trajectory – hot pundit talk that gives way to colder industry responses down the road – a crucial difference: Neon had evident faith in Spencer whereas Amazon (MGM) has pencilled this film in for a Labor Day dump. No noms are expected.

Very interesting! I will refrain from watching the trailer. Wrong marketing can really damn the potential of the film.
