It will never happen in a million years, nor will it happen for a million years after that, nor will it happen for a million years after that!! Another million after that maybe.
FYC: Ready Player One. Sound Editing, Sound Mixing, Visual Effects, Original Score, Production Design, Director and BEST PICTURE (make it happen Oscars!!)November 30, 2017 at 3:46 pm #1202426232
How amazing would it be if we heard Oscar morning…
BEST ACTRESS IN A SUPPORTING ROLE
Mary J. Blige – Mudbound
Tiffany Haddish – Girls Trip
Alison Janney – I Tonya
Laurie Metcalf – Laybird
Octavia Spencer – The Shape Of WaterDecember 1, 2017 at 1:32 pm #1202426969
Haddish is likable and new. Supporting Actress isn’t a bloodbath like Best Actress. Heck, Best Actress remains the most competitive of the acting categories.December 6, 2017 at 7:59 am #1202431096
Congrats on the Critic’s Choice Award nomination Tiff 🙂December 6, 2017 at 8:20 am #1202431135
Poor those who underestimate the Tiffany Haddish wave.
Like I said before, if Robert Downey, Jr. in blackface and Melissa McCarthy can ride the wave, then Tiffany Haddish definitely should be considered. Let’s go to the Oscars, baby!December 6, 2017 at 8:54 am #1202431168
SAG is key here.December 6, 2017 at 10:46 am #1202431309
Girls trip didn’t get a screening at HFPA. Jada Pinkett basically confirmed thisRiley (the normal one, not the one who won the predictions contest)ParticipantDecember 6, 2017 at 10:48 am #1202431317
I will continue to underestimate the Tiffany Haddish wave. I could be wrong, but might as well own it.December 6, 2017 at 11:13 am #1202431348
I’m not predicting Tiffany Haddish on the SAG Awards since I don’t see a huge support for her from the voters as much as I would love her to get nominated but, if she’ll get a nod, an Oscar nomination should now be a huge possibility.
