The WatchMojo spinoff MsMojo just published a list of the top 10 worst movies based on children’s books, and here’s what they came up with:

    1. The Cat In The Hat
    2. The Giver
    3. Gulliver’s Travels (2010 version)
    4. Eragon
    5. Ella Enchanted
    6. The Golden Compass
    7. The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones
    8. Inkheart
    9. The Seeker: The Dark Is Rising
    10. Pinocchio (2002 version)

    Dishonorable mentions:
Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief
    I Am Number Four
Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant

What do you think of the list? Any others they might have missed?

A Wrinkle In Time was definitely disappointing. I don’t think The Giver had to be ranked so high though. There were a lot of changes from the book that didn’t work, but the acting was decent and the cinematography was incredible.
