I forgot about Nashville, may be a really close second to Network. The entire 1975 Supporting Actress category should have been solely Nashville performances.

FYC: Mary Kay Place in Diane

It’s a disgrace you people always exclude horror:

The Exorcist remains unmatched in the genre.

I mean sure, there’s an abundance of horror movies with great acting, but we’re talking top ten of all time here, so it’s not surprising that some types of movies will be missing when you narrow it down that far.

I had Cries and Whispers in my top 10, does that count? Lol. (Incidentally that competed with The Exorcist at the Oscars.

Darlings, there are a lot of great ensembles but the classy Magnolia really stands out. Almost everyone was Oscar-worthy.

A lot of the greats have been mentioned here such as Network, All About Eve, One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest,  Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, etc.

I’ll throw out The Favourite as well.  The performances from Colman, Stone, and Weisz were sensational.

The performances from Dustin Hoffman, Meryl Streep, and Justin Henry are also phenomenal in Kramer vs Kramer.

The Hours has incredible performances from a wonderful group of actors that includes Nicole Kidman, Meryl Streep, Julianne Moore, Ed Harris, Allison Janney, Toni Collette, Margo Martindale, Claire Danes, John C Reilly, and many others.

This “of all time” is a pretty overwhelming question for me to answer actually.

Watts. Are you already a member of Bloody Disgusting? If not they’re a savvy group of horror connoisseurs and some of their members are GDers as well.
