So today Disney Pixar released the teaser trailer for Toy Story 4
Tony Hale will play “Forky” a new toy that Bonnie creates
Many new and old friends from Toy Story 3 will return including Barbie, Buttercup and moreNovember 12, 2018 at 1:16 pm #1202673565
I honestly think this “Forky” character is so weird. Like his design is unappealing and overall his purpose seems like a distraction. Here’s my theory which I can pretty much guarantee will happen.
Forky is created by Bonnie to be a new toy. He hates the idea of that and wants to serve his purpose of being a spork. He tries to quit being a toy but fails his attempts until the rest of the gang convince him that being a toy is a lot of fun. Also that he’s just gonna be thrown in the trash after one use (LOL).
Anyways all of this aside. Does anyone still remember the announced storyline that it will be about Woody trying to find Bo Peep to rekindle their relationship? I think that will be in there but I think it’ll be Woody goes for Bo Peep while the rest of the gang is dealing with “Forky’s” problem.November 12, 2018 at 2:59 pm #1202673654
This seems really unnecessary, but we’ll see.

Oh god no. That plot was so un-Disney. I like the Woody/Bo Peep plot a lot. I hope they focus on that. This spork isn’t probably gonna be the focus of the film. At least let’s hope not.November 12, 2018 at 6:47 pm #1202673840
I have some predictions for its box office. Obviously it’s way too far away to tell and as it hasn’t really had it’s plot revealed mainstream wise it’ll be hard to tell but I wanna give it a go lol.
Opening weekend: $125-$160M
Domestic box office: $380-$540M
Worldwide box office: $1.1-$1.3b
Overall I expect it to do really well. I have such a wide-range because it’s critical response could really decide it’s fate. I think it’s hard to predict how much the GP and critics will like it because Pixar has had it’s history of sequel’s that don’t live up to the originals. These problems has never occurred with Toy Story but now that this seems like a cash grab (like Finding Dory) it could suffer the consequences. I think it will be like FD, good enough but not ideal. So overall I see a total being really up high but I doubt it will beat Incredibles 2 and it could very much not reach the levels of Finding Dory. It’s worldwide box office should be record breaking for Pixar too.November 13, 2018 at 8:45 pm #1202674594
By the by, I made a Toy Story 4 thread all the way back in November 2014 when the news was first announced, so thread already exists… and has existed for four years.

After rewatching the trailer, my theory is that Woody will leave Buzz and Jessie and the rest of the toys at the end of the film and go off with Bo Peep.
Also everyone believes the little boy in Andy’s room in the trailer is actually Andy, but I wonder if it could actually be his son and Andy moves back into his old home with his own family?March 21, 2019 at 9:09 am #1202824446
Didn’t see Laurie Metcalf’s character in the trailer but it has been confirmed that she’s reprising her role
