I have no idea if this is a popular or unpopular opinion, but Scarlett Johansson has always been a terrific actress, even before the one-two punch of Marriage Story/Jojo Rabbit.

She was controversial for so long being just a pretty face for casting. It wasn’t until her Broadway stint that her acting style improved and made her underrated to the film industry.

She is one of my favorite actresses. A true Superstar!

Looking back now, Avatar was probably only the 2nd-to-3rd-best film in its VFX category. The backgrounds are stunning but those blue creatures look really bad most of the time. District 9 has similar problems while Star Trek holds up incredibly well. Ignoring the technical achievement factor, Star Trek should have won.

That’s not true. She had acclaimed turns before that, and her Tony winning performance actually had a lot of detractors, to the point where when it’s brought up, it’s usually being insulted.

And while we’re at it…ASIB was completely overrated and shouldn’t have received as many nominations as it did.

I know. I’m all for some thirst, but those two really exceeded the boundaries of desperation. The fake tears and cheesy meme phrases really made me laugh throughout the whole season.

The Gucci movie and Maestro will be something…

Gaga in a movie with DeNiro and Pacino…I can see her playing the wide eyed ingenue all over again (“There can be 100 people in a room,…”)

Cooper with Spielberg and Scorsese…He will spend his entire campaign kissing up to them…
