The Academy prefers beige Kidman. All PG-13 releases.

That hasn’t stopped GD from predicting her annually for Oscar noms.

If Beale Street Could Talk losing score is one of the biggest oscar tragedies ever.

Anyone that knows anything about music knows that nothing last year was close to that score.

    For Your Consideration:

Best International Feature: Instinct (The Netherlands)
Best Actress: Carice van Houten (Instinct)

    1. I didn’t like the score to If Beale Street Could Talk.
    2. I’m tired of seeing the word stan used anywhere.
    3. Bradley Cooper wasn’t that good in A Star Is Born.
    4. Family Guy is still a great show- in fact the newer seasons hold up better than the older ones.
    5. Goldderby should pay more attention to us in their Oscar podcasts.
    6. Cate Blanchett is a bit overrated as an actress.
    7. Subtle performances are not always the best performances.
    8. Meryl Streep was great in August Osage County.
    9. White people getting all offended about racism towards minorities is fucking annoying.
    10. White privilege is a myopic, idiotic concept.
    11. Big Hollywood stars constantly getting cast in film adaptations of musicals over more talented theatre actors needs to stop.
    12. People who don’t respond to threads but look at them enough to have them gather like 81 views are infuriating.

-Bette Davis in Dangerous, Joan Fontaine in Suspicion and Julie Andrews in Mary Poppins are the worst Best Actress winners.
-Jodie Foster in The Silence of The Lambs is one of the most overrated performances of all time. She just found the right role and stole Sarandon´s oscar. Her performance in The Accused was miles better.
-Jessica Lange deserved her two oscars more than Maggie Smith did.
-Helen Hunt in As Good As It Gets is the best female comedic performance to win, after Olivia Colman in The Favourite.
-Elizabeth Taylor deserved the oscar over Shirley MacLaine.
-Jack Nicholson was awful in As Good As It Gets and About Schmidt. His oscar for Terms of Endearment was forgettable too, can´t say if it was deserved or not yet.
-Eddie Redmayne in The Danish Girl did it MUCH better than Jared Leto in Dallas Buyers Club.
-Neither Dianne Wiest and Uma Thurman deserved to win best supporting actress in 1995.Jennifer Tilly did.
-Bonnie & Clyde is overrated and BORING.
-Sandra Bullock did us all a HUGE favour by winning that damn oscar.Sidibe and Mulligan were never happening which would lead to Streep winning for that horrendous Julie & Julia.

Really? I wouldn’t call Colman or Hunt’s performances super comedic compared to some female Oscar winners not that I don’t like their performances.

I didn’t know where to post it so I’ll ask here. Could you guys recommend me some good AIDS-themed movies? I have recently watched How to Survive a Plague and I’m in the mood to watch more of this stuff.

Angels In America is a great miniseries about AIDS.

Carey Mulligan was in Wildlife was better than half the best actress nominees last year.

Jennifer Lawrence’s best performances are Winter’s Bone and Mother! American Hustle is fun though.

    Aubrey Plaza is incredibly underrated

Timothée Chalamet in Call Me By Your Name is the best male performance this decade closely followed by Casey Affleck in Manchester by the Sea

Eddie Redmayne was terrible in The Danish Girl.
