I actually loved The Blind Side and thought Sandra Bullock was amazing and 100% deserved the Oscar. I don’t get the hate for it

FYC Oscars- Little Women, Saoirse Ronan, Joaquin Phoenix, Scarlett Johansson/Florence Pugh, Brad Pitt

FYC Emmys- The Crown, Killing Eve, Jennifer Aniston, Schitts Creek, Dead to Me, Fonda/Tomlin, Years and Years

Dicaprio in Django Unchained is the weakest link of the movie and his most overrated performance by far

Waltz’s second Oscar should’ve gone to Samuel L. Jackson, who gives best performance in Django Unchained by far.

Christopher Nolan is horrendously overrated: his movies have too many concepts and not enough depth, and his characters are exposition machines whose dynamics never work for me. He’s like Kubrick without any real artistry, so he throws gimmick after gimmick to distract people from the total lack of substance in his movies.

I completely agree, Nolan’s films lack any kind of depth. I find his films to be very  dull and unengaging.

Darlings, I’m currently watching “Bad Times at the El Royale” and hell… Does Cynthia Erivo think she’s Beyoncé? Can she shut the fuck up? She’s so annoying, my goodness.

    Stick to campaigning Lena Headey

Brie Larson’s Oscar should have been for Short Term 12, not Room. She wins for Short Term 12 over Blanchett in Blue Jasmine and Blanchett wins for Carol over Larson in Room.

She’s better than Beyoncé, and she’s heading to an EGOT though not this year.

Darling, I don’t know if she’s better, she can act, but she was annoying as hell oversinging.

Darling, Thatcher does whatever she wants wherever she wants. That’s why she’s the Prime Minister.

Booksmart does not deserve any Oscar buzz… yes, not even for Screenplay. I RAN to the theatre so hyped to watch it after all the buzz and reviews but to me it was just an average Netflix teen movie and some of the jokes were just borderline cringe. The only thing I thought about when I left the theatre was George tbh.

Darling, lots of films didn’t deserve Oscar buzz and they got it. Last year we had Black Panther and Bohemian Tragedy nominated… I mean, I have to laugh.

Black Panther deserved. Love a 3x Oscar winning film.

Aside from Michelle Williams, Sam Rockwell, and some below the line nominations, Fosse/Verdon should’ve been shut out of the Emmy race.

When they See Us is good, but very overrated. People are saying its great based on the injustice of the story and not the actual quality of the show.
