November 16, 2019 at 10:48 pm #1203182724I ended up liking The Lion King. It didn’t reinvent the wheel but I still found it nostalgic. Ejiofor was just as good as Irons.

ReplyCopy URLDecember 11, 2019 at 8:01 pm #12032328422018 was the worst year this decade for Best Actor nominees, not 2015. Even though Willem Dafoe is one of the greatest actors alive, he wasn’t great in At Eternity’s Gate. Bradley Cooper was adequate. Viggo Mortensen was very unmemorable in his performance, and in all honesty was bland as hell. Rami Malek and Christian Bale gave SNL skit performances for full-length movies. None of them were really Best Actor nomination worthy at all.
I’ll go one step further: Josh Brolin was better in Avengers Infinity War than every single Best Actor nominee in 2018.

I agree- I enjoy the film. And to be clear, the characters are complaining about rent because their friend went back on a promise to let them live rent free. I’d be mad if I was them. Still, they really should have worked on getting jobs lol.

Catherine Zeta Jones was my #2 Supportimg Actress win of the 00s, only behind MoNique.

I love Sharon’s tenacity and inability to give a f*ck! She said what she said and meant it. Go off sis.

She’s way too small and curvy to be convincing as this tough kickass female assassin who can physically overpower and beat guys two times her size.

How is that an unpopular opinion? Most would rank Cotillard 1st in her category.
