Viola is stuck in victim-hood and it has become too much. Then, she calls out critics but it was the audience that dragged her performance. Lastly, without critics, where would she be?
ReplyCopy URLMay 21, 2022 at 2:36 pm #1204959374I’m unsure how unpopular this view is but I know some disagree: It’s never an actor’s fault if the actor is miscast— the fault, if any exists, lies with the director and maybe the producers.
would not say never. if an established actor reads a script that calls for, par exemple, singing or accent work and they cannot hold a tune or maintain an accent they should have the wherewithal to not audition for or take that part.

people are still going on about this? move on.

May 21, 2022 at 4:51 pm #1204959532Like i said, he was very stupid, his ego got to big and he became something he swear will never be, he’s an example how money, drugs and alcohol can change you for worst, sometimes i wish he had never made that Pirates movie. I miss the old Johnny from Arizona Dream, Jony and June, Edward Scissor hands, Ed Wood, What’s eating Gilbert Grape, etc, all his 90s filmography was impeccable.
I agree. I wrote that several times in these forums. He won 350 million USD but it seems money destroyed his life and his career. He was a way better actor before Pirates(2003)

The General Public never cared about her and The General Public only saw her in the DC Superhero movie. But she is adored by actresses and actors: she won Several SAGs voted by All Actors and Actresses

Yeah exactly. No one is infallible, not even the greatest of the greatest. That role was just bad and she shouldn’t blame the critics for it. She should just learn from it and move on.

I was referring to a recent interview she did when i speak of victim-hood. She speaks on how a director called her by his maid’s name.I’m sorry but this s*** is getting old.

Well, I’m all for “calling out” critics. Unless they make movies themselves. What a herding job…

I agree. And most reviews from critics are badly written. Most critics are garbage with few exceptions

In fact, often the opinion of other people is what can push you to the right decision and can help you buy something. It’s about business and Impacts of Reviews.io Reviews on Businesses A very interesting fact. As a marketer, I have studied this issue and conducted research. It really works.

Yeah, ik that. I was more replying to a thing previously posted on this thread than declaring an unpopular opinion.
