I don’t get the appeal of Top Gun Maverick at all. The dialogue was horrid, everything involving Jennifer Connelly was cringy and it was Tom Cruise being Tom Cruise. Cool special effects and flight scenes but everything else in the movie was really bad. Overall, the movie was a good 15 minutes too long.

    Exactly. I agree 100%

Bernstein was Jewish. Cooper is not. Mulligan is also playing a Latin woman’s role and should be criticized more harshly too.

She was a White Latina. Carey Mulligan kind of looks like a White Latina. For example: Anya Taylor Joy is a White Latina

I know this was an old idea but I still want my Meryl Streep/Glenn Close remake of What Ever Happened to Baby Jane.

They seem too old for that remake. But I want a movie starring both

Uh… the art of restrained and understated acting is too difficult to understand for some people. unless you think whatever David O’Russell actors is doing are phenomenal.. then no wonder why would you call Mara and Blanchett are both meh in the movie

I agree. But I suppose it’s personal taste. I prefer Al Pacino in his first movies(The Godfather 1) were he was so realistic and normal. I prefer normal and realistic acting style. Not Overacting As Hell

Youre not Latina yet still defended Carey to some degree. Please be objective here. She shouldn’t have taken that role. Im Jewish and Cooper’s prosthetics makes Berstein look like a caricature. An actual Jewish man could have played him.

I agree Cooper looks so weird with a huge nose. His co-star was the perfect Bernstein

Jurassic World 3 was the best of a bad bunch and omg they actually used some puppets! Thank goodness it wasn’t all CGI … puppet dinos always looked better… it was a fun family movie which brought the old gang together… nothing more or less…. definitely doesn’t deserve the savage reviews

Dakota Johnson is one of the worst actresses working today. She’s stiff and reuses the same beats for all of her performances to the point where it becomes tired and repetitive. And when she isn’t being repetitive, her line delivery comes off as awkward at some points or suggests in a sense that she is barely trying.

Jessica Chastain, Brie Larson, Gwyneth Paltrow and Meryl Streep (The Iron Lady) didn’t even give the best performances in the films they won their Oscars for.

FYC: Better Call Saul and The Good Fight in all categories including Bob Odenkirk, Christine Baranski and Rhea Seehorn.

Personally I felt both performances were masterclasses in acting , but my vote would’ve been for Colman

Gwyneth Paltrow is Underrated. Anne Hathaway is Underrated too. I never understand why so many people hate Paltrow and Hathaway

She only has a soft voice like her mother, my unpopular opinion is that she was the best part in 50 shades of Grey, i never thought she would look naive and innocent in that movie, but she impressed me, Jaime Dornan was a huge disappointment, Dakota did her homework.
