I think Netflix had a more negative impact on films than Marvel. Netflix has some of the cheapest films ever made with a high budget and the quality is only getting worse. They’ve focused on trending and not quality.
I blame more Marvel. Red Notice(the most watched Netflix movie ever) has the worst CGI of all time with a huge budget of 200 Million USD

And she was 13 years old in Star Wars 1. And she was 16 years old in Bend it like Beckham
ReplyCopy URLMarch 18, 2023 at 4:04 am #1205356181I mean: “Actress Keira Knightley Reveals Acting Criticism Led to a Mental Breakdown, PTSD at 22” “Keira Knightley was called out by her Begin Again director, John Carney, for basically being a bad actress… Carney said he’ll “never make a film with supermodels again…” Metro: “6 times Keira Knightley was the most annoying actress ever” Guardian: “Hatred of Keira is like menstruation; all women share it” Elaine Lui: “Worst Young Actress: Keira Knightley – Beyond the jaw and the hideous eyebrows and the seizure-inducing pout, you want to know why I’m not a fan?” In a recent interview with Elle Magazine, the 24-year-old actress revealed that critics still have some harsh words about her performance by calling her a “s**t actress”.
Arent those all from the earlier part of her career? I feel like it’s been generally accepted for a long time now that she’s a good and well liked actress.

THIS!! Her performance in Support The Girls is one of the last decade’s absolute best and she should have WON the Oscar for it. She was also breathtaking this year in Honk For Jesus, Save Your Soul, and I’m so excited to see her (hopefully) getting good material in the upcoming PTA movie.

Keyra was 17 when she made Doctor Zhivago and there’s a explicit sex scene. She always looked older than her age
ReplyCopy URLMarch 18, 2023 at 9:47 am #1205356371While Daniel Radcliffe seems like a wonderful person, I disagree with all the people who praise him for his choice in roles and films. Yes, on one hand it is great that an actor will do whatever seems fun to them instead of choosing boring “serious” movies all of the time but most of Radcliffe’s movies are unwatchable. Beast of Burden? Horns? Gamechangers? Jungle? He is not actually good at picking scripts. Swiss Army Man and the Weird Al movie stand out as being the only decent movies he has done since HP. I am convinced people that praise him for his choices haven’t sat down and watched his films. He is also decent at comedy but truly terrible with drama. His dramatic chops as an actor have not improved at all and have probably even regressed since HP. He is also bad at accents. Miracle Workers is watchable because he is largely funny and his same neurotic self with his OWN accent.
Robert Pattinson’s filmography post-Twilight is SO much stronger.

“I’m Here” will secure her the win. Fantasia is about to bring it.

ReplyCopy URLMarch 18, 2023 at 5:18 pm #1205356695Bringing Up Baby is absolutely awful. Never have I ever disagreed with the consensus so much in my life on any work of art, but man it’s just horrible. The only positive is Cary Grant I guess? Like it’s literally a 1/10. The only reason it’s not a 0 is because it’s not technically bad (a la The Room). But yeah. Loathe that absolutely atrocious, inane, stupid excuse of a movie. Cats is better!

If that happens, Men will win 90 percent of all times. Denzel Washington versus women? They will vote Denzel Washington. Leonardo DiCaprio versus women? They will vote Leonardo DiCaprio. Joaquin Phoenix versus women? They will vote Joaquin Phoenix

Same with J-Law. J-Law always looks older than her age

I disagree. Bill Murray played himself in Lost in Traslation and that is very difficult: an old movie star/old Hollywood actor who is very depressed in Tokyo, Japan
