This site is highkey misogynist, especially for women like Jennifer Lawrence and Zendaya, they can’t even hide it the way they treat these two. They really think praising and stanning older women make them woke and feminist.

It’s so gross the way they claim “Jennifer Lawrence slept her way to the top” 🤢

What is exactly young? What age is a girl? Emma Stone and Margot Robbie are 33 or 32. I doubt 30-36 is considered girls or boys

My point is both Robbie and Stone are worldwide/industry darlings and GD is biased against Darlings like them. Same can be said towards JLaw and Zendaya (Thank god Euphoria convince me that she can actually act)

In every movie I’ve seen of his, (Prizzi’s Honor, The Witches of Eastwick, Something’s Gotta Give, About Schmidt, The Departed, As Good as It Gets, The Shining) Jack Nicholson never came close to being the best part of it.

I don’t think this is unpopular at all, but it bears repeating once in a while.

Emma Stone in Birdman was just a coattail nomination, nothing more, period.

This is very popular outside GD but Amber Heard needs to be cancelled and the Industry owe Johnny Depp a comeback and returning his iconic roles (Grindelwald, Jack Sparrow) back to him.

Have you seen One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Chinatown, The Last Detail and/or Five Easy Pieces? If not, you’ve missed some of his greatest performances.

I hope this is not an unpopular oponion. Literally any other nominees in 2005 Oscar is better than Hillary Swank in Million Dollar Baby. It’s undertandable that they went to the default although I should say she’s good in it. My pick would be Imelda Staunton who did a work of gods of acting in Vera Drake.

To add a little bit, it’s such a shame that performances in Mike Leigh’s film are constantly under-rewarded. David Thewlis in Naked, Jim Broadbent in Topsy Turvy, Sally Hawkins in Happy-Go-Lucky, Lesley Manville in Another Year, Timothy Spall in Mr. Turner, … . What a legend!

    Endgame was boring

Infinity War had everyone gasping. EndGame was stupid.

Is this unpopular? It’s a fantastic win! I know people thought Russell Crowe would take his consecutive Oscar and the narrative seemed to be that he lost because he’d berated the BFAA producer for cutting off his acceptance speech, but Denzel deserved this thru and thru. Tom Wilkinson is my 2nd fave in the category, but a distant 2nd.

It was unpopular back in the day because message board users thought Training Day was a weak movie, but I guess with time people are warming up to the performance

Avatar was mediocre and kind of boring. I think Stephen Lang as The Villain was the only great part of Avatar

this opinion became popular a few months after its release and this is coming from someone who loved the movie

Natalie Portman should have won her second Oscar for Jackie instead of Emma Stone.

Portman should have been nominated for Lucy in the Sky.

Adam Driver is as painful to look at as is his attempt to act

To each their own. I think he looks great like a young Keanu Reeves BUT he is a better actor than Keanu Reeves
