I bet Close and Davidson is the best one. Mental health is probably a big subject for both. I doubt he’s seen Jagged Edge or Reversal of Fortune though.

Hopkins and Fosters was great, interesting and enjoyable.

All the pairing make sense except Close and Davidson. Are they starring in an upcoming film together or something, else I can’t think of a reason they’d be put together.

    FYC OSCARS

PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN in all categories (inc. CAREY MULLIGAN & Emerald Fennell in Screenplay)

THE FATHER in all categories (inc. Best Picture, ANTHONY HOPKINS, Olivia Colman & Adapted Screenplay)

Lo Si (Diane Warren) for Original Song

    Chloe Zhao for Director

Oddly enough, I cannot wait to see Close and Davidson together.

I just love movies. And awards.

Eddie Redmayne is participating with Trial campaigning

They all are campaigning though. I’ve even see Caitlin Fitzgerald and Jeremy Strong do some interviews.

FYC OSCARS : PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN IN ALL CATEGORIES (ESP. ACTRESS – Carey Mulligan AND ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY — EMERALD FENNELL), VANESSA KIRBY FOR "PIECES OF A WOMAN", ESSIE DAVIS FOR "BABYTEETH"

    2) Eddie Redmayne is participating with Trial campaigning

I am scared the Globes will bite.

SBC is clearly the main push but Rylance and Langella (who were thought to be the possible nominees early on) are not really campaigning. I’ve only seen Yahya and Sacha, and, I guess, Eddie.

Redmayne and Cohen gave the most mediocre performances performers in that film (alongside Strong).

But they have done just a couple of things, only Sacha and Yahya have been really doing their campaign.

I really think Eddie can be namechecked by the Globes. Especially since his role is one of the two one could call “lead”.
