Picture: A Hero (gonna go completely left-field with this, but who knows. This happening might even be essentially an impossibility since its distributor is Amazon and streaming-distributed films will probably need a few more years before any of them get any BP wins.)

Director: Jane Campion – The Power of the Dog

Actor: Benedict Cumberbatch – The Power of the Dog

    Actress: Jennifer Hudson – Respect

Supporting Actor: Al Pacino – House of Gucci

Supporting Actress: Toni Colette – Nightmare Alley

Original Screenplay: A Hero – Asghar Farhadi

Adapted Screenplay: House of Gucci – Roberto Bentivegna

Looks like Florence + The Machine has an original song in Cruella. As if the category couldn’t get more stacked.

Jennifer Hudson would be another waste of an acting Oscar

Rooting hard for Florence. Been a big fan of hers for a while.

I also am very excited to see Ana de Armas’ turn as Marilyn Monroe. What an interesting casting choice. If she’s any good, I’d love to see her win and have our first Latino Best Actress winner.

The Oscars love DOR. Canterbury Glass is going to be a huge nominee. They don’t care if he’s a bully.

Its difficult to have her in main lead though. The premise says its all about McKenzie’s character journey in 1960s London and Anya being her idols.

I’ll laugh hard if both ends up full Carol, lol

HOUSE OF GUCCI is extreme and crazy like The Wolf of Wall Street and that could be very bad news for Oscars. THE LAST DUEL has more chances at the Oscars. THE LAST DUEL is old school like GLADIATOR. After the worst Ratings Ever, Probably the Oscars want something old school like THE LAST DUEL
