Last Flop in Soho looks like trash. Nightflop Alley deserves to flop because Guillermo del Fatty stole PTA’s Oscar. House of Gucci will tank because Gaga and Leto are dreadful actors, and Ridley Scott is a recently mediocre, inconsistent director. Annette looks to be the biggest pile of steaming hot turd to ever debut at a film festival. The Flop Dispatch will be too arty-farty, like every other Wes Anderson slog, for Academy normies to reward with Best Picture. Dune won’t even be in contention because the French-American twink is miscast and the cinematography/production design is woefully hideous. Spencer will flop because Elizabeth Debicki in The Crown… and because Kristen Stewart has the charisma of a miscarried baby. Farhadi’s A Hero will be widely acclaimed, as it should be, and be in serious contention to win Picture and/or Director. The Power of the Dog looks nice, too. The Tragedy of Macbeth will do well because Denzel is desperate for another Oscar and Frances McDormand is a living legend (and four-time Oscar winner, hi hi). Benedetta and Blue Bayou will serve. Olivia Colman will be nominated and in contention to win because she’s an icon. Fuck everything else.

In a TV interview, Marion Cotillard said Annette will tackle conjugal violence/domestic violence, and that her character is much darker than expected, while Adam’s character is somber from the beginning: https://mobile.twitter.com/CreativLicense_/status/1408135011241500677 More info from her TV interview: https://mobile.twitter.com/CreativLicense_/status/1408141160573542406

I’m not trolling. You’re just an insecure fuck who creams their yellow-stained, moth-bitten knickers over mediocrity. Acquire better taste, faggot.

I know this is a discussion forum but this is disgusting. Do you enjoy being abusive to people?

Also comments get removed for being vaguely spoilery but this gets a pass? Do better GD.

Awards Watch updated their Best Supporting Actress predictions page, and they’ve listed the actresses they’re unsure about regarding their categories: The lead or supporting conundrum: Caitriona Balfe – Belfast (Focus Features)
Cate Blanchett – Nightmare Alley (Searchlight Pictures)
Jodie Comer – The Last Duel (20th Century Studios)
Kirsten Dunst – The Power of the Dog (Netflix)
Rooney Mara – Nightmare Alley (Searchlight Pictures)

    They were robbed.

oh yes. Leila Hatami and Sareh Bayet should’ve won best actress and supporting actress. I mean, Hatami’s fight scene in the kitchen with her husband and Bayet’s plea for her husband to be given a chance by the judge during the trials are unforgettable masterclass of acting. Meanwhile I’m already forgotten who won that year.

When did I enter an alternate universe where Goldderby is a hate speech forum with a booming culture of body shaming & racist and homophobic slurs? I can’t remember the exact moment.

It does, but that’s beside the point.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Anyway… I’d just like to say that I am very happy with everyone giving Dune its due now. When the trailer first dropped, everyone tossed it aside, but I stuck by it. Nice to see people have changed their tunes.</p>
