I think it’s really refreshing Viola and Juvee productions are going with some fresh talent! This is Evan Dodson’s first major screenplay, and Vance Ford has quite the introduction into directing and awards attention for such a short career! Can’t wait to hear more news on the rest of the cast!!

Yea, its pretty sad! But most of them haven’t been given good oportunities either! Its so bad, even the ones who won were like “oh ok now you won, bye”. And all of them are great great actresses. maybe in this new age of movies and with more diverse directors we get to see them again; hell not even Cicely Tyson was given her due 😡
