Viola Davis to Star in Action Thriller ‘G20’

Viola Davis, currently on screens in The Woman King, has come aboard to star and produce G20, an action-thriller from Amazon Studios and MRC Film.

Patricia Riggen, who directed The 33 and Miracles From Heaven, is set to helm the feature, with Davis and Julius Tennon, her husband and partner at JuVee Productions, joining Andrew Lazar of Mad Chance as producers.

Good for her. She is in her late 50s and doing an action movie. The only other actress I can think is Bullock. Bullock is doing great in her late 50s. But most actresses in their late 50s slow down or Hollywood forgot about them

Well, in Viola’s case, Hollywood slept on her when she was younger. She’s FINALLY getting her flowers and getting diverse roles, worthy of her talent!
