No Sally Hawkins for Best Actress? I’m disappointed.

PERFORMER OF THE DECADE EMMA STONE
<p style=”text-align: center;”> < BEST ACTRESS EMMA STONE, LA LA LAND

As someone who adores her, I’d try to leave all Spider-Man stuff out of Stone campaigning. It was very far from her finest hour.

Emma Stone has only one good performance and anyone voting for her is simply wrong

Still pretty good though. She was electric with Garfield and the chemistry oozed from the screen. There was no false note in her performance, which was refreshing after the blandness that was Kirsten Dunst.

True, the movies weren’t good, but she was. The romance was probably the one area that everyone agrees the reboot films clearly improved over the originals.

Anyway, I’m pissed. I w=put together a whole big FYC with gifs and everything and it didn’t send. Guess I’ll try again later.

Not sure if Sakura Ando’s performance in Shoplifters earned a nod from Gold Derby a year ago … but to me, hers was the best acting performance I have seen in years.

It’s a good performance and she’s undoubtedly the best part of the movie.

Anyway, I included Spider Man to show her brilliant selection of projects. She’s pretty much has done it all in a decade: rom com, comedy, drama, franchise, art house movies, biopic, musical, period piece etc. And excelled in every single one of them.
