The way CODA underperformed here with such a large group( 2700 voters) is very interesting especially after BAFTA. I expected more passion for it. It was like eighth in Picture and Smit-McPhee was way ahead of Kotsur.

The Power of the Dog’s ATL sweep and Dune’s BTL sweep were extremely lazy. The former winning screenplay awards over TLD and DMC will forever remain baffling. Same with the awards for Dune for its forgettable score.

The lead winners were the obvious highlight. Wish they’d repeat at the Oscars too. Beavan winning for Cruella nearly makes up for the consecutive terrible wins of Little Women and Ma Rainey.

The award ceremony this year was great. Loved it with all the speaches, and btw great winners. I voted for Garfield, Stewart, Smit-McPhee and Dunst, So I am very happy with all the acting categories event though Dunst did not preveil in the Ende. looking forward to next year!
