March 17, 2022 at 7:11 am #1204855631The way CODA underperformed here with such a large group( 2700 voters) is very interesting especially after BAFTA. I expected more passion for it. It was like eighth in Picture and Smit-McPhee was way ahead of Kotsur.

I wonder how many of the results he’s seen over the years?
We’re always better than Oscar. Even with all the stans.

Goldderby better than the Oscars?
Stop doing drugs, Teri. You used to be such a fun person back in the old days (circa 2008). What the hell happened to you?

ReplyCopy URLMarch 17, 2022 at 10:43 am #1204856050The Power of the Dog’s ATL sweep and Dune’s BTL sweep were extremely lazy. The former winning screenplay awards over TLD and DMC will forever remain baffling. Same with the awards for Dune for its forgettable score.
The lead winners were the obvious highlight. Wish they’d repeat at the Oscars too. Beavan winning for Cruella nearly makes up for the consecutive terrible wins of Little Women and Ma Rainey.
