Last chance to vote soon… I’m wondering if any additions were made?

Ana de Armas, Julianne Nicholson - Blonde (Best Actress, Supporting Actress)
Samantha Morton - She Said (Best Supporting Actress)

I haven’t noticed any. Hopefully the team will do them at the beginning of next week so we have time for our ballots to actually reflect our favourites.
ReplyCopy URLJanuary 6, 2023 at 4:10 pm #1205224456Can we please get Daryl McCormack as an option in best actor and breakthrough performer? I appreciate how difficult it is to create new profiles for performers but he’s in the BAFTA predictions centre now after his long-list mention.
ReplyCopy URLFYC: Better Call Saul, The English and The Good Fight in all categories including Emily Blunt, Bob Odenkirk, Christine Baranski and Rhea Seehorn.

I’ve checked just now and saw none of the requests in the thread added, what’s the point in making one?
I mean, by the time suggestions are added (I think this happened last few years too) it’s like the day before deadline, so that doesn’t give any time for people to campaign or suggest votes for passion picks. Now I understand why the nominees each year are basic and a repeat of Critics Choice line ups…

ReplyCopy URLJanuary 11, 2023 at 10:29 am #1205236811I know it’s getting close to the deadline, but I hope more choices are added before time runs out. There just aren’t enough movies and performances covered in what’s there now (which is, ironically, the same issue I have with the Oscars. They cast too small a net).
As one example, Argentina, 1985 just won the International Feature category at the Golden Globes and it’s still not an option for Best Picture in this poll. Seems crazy to me.

I just came here to say this same thing. I know it’s terribly late, but is there any chance Argentina, 1985 could please be added to Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay? It’s an amazing, important, well-made film, and its Golden Globe win proves its merit even more. I’ve been wanting to select it as my #5 picture pick for a while now, but haven’t been able to…

January 12, 2023 at 5:32 am #1205238591I know a lot of people here haven’t seen her movie yet but I’m shamelessly asking some of you to include Zar Amir Ebrahimi in your top 3. She’s been ignored by the critics and industry so let’s team together and give her a mention she deserves!
