This is actually a decent list for once lol. I like the Wong, Abbass and Coolidge mentions.

I assume Tracey Ullman and Fiona Shaw were ineligible?

Michael Stuhlbarg should have two Oscar nominations by now. For A Serious Man and Call Me By Your Name.

    A damm shame.

Someone who I personally would have added is David Tennant (who has the most incredible range and is underrated af) . Although I assume he is ineligible per the Hahn rule.

Favorites. I thought Denis would be discounted since he’s gotten awards recognition for AHS before.

    Also… I love Camryn Manheim.

I just love movies. And awards.

Pretty good list. I wonder why actors like:
    Kaitlyn Dever
    Jena Malone
    Julianne Nicholson
    Jesse Plemons
    Jovan Adepo
    Carrie Coon
    Freya Mavor
    Jean Smart
    Helena Howard
    Miranda July
    Hannah Murray

wouldn’t be on here. They haven’t won any major prizes and are almost always or usually supporting actors, shouldn’t they be eligible?

    FYC:
    Everything Everywhere All At Once
    The Banshees of Inisherin
    Women Talking
All the Beauty and the Bloodshed
    Joyland

I do actually. She’s comedically very gifted even if she has the Rebel Wilson-like shtick that is kind of the same everytime. But even beyond that, she’s really good in tiny roles like in this year’s PYW.

I love Jean Smart, but she won Supporting Actress – Comedy in 2008 for Samantha Who?
