Wow this is insane!
Margot Robbie has been cast in Wes Anderson's next project. She joins a cast that includes Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, Adrien Brody and Tom Hanks https://t.co/gY7L2aHzPE pic.twitter.com/jL6FH7l2LK

Robbie’s role is apparently supporting. I wonder how big her role is, especially considering Babylon only started filming last month and Anderson’s movie starts shooting this month.

ReplyCopy URLAugust 14, 2021 at 12:07 am #1204396394According to the article, filming started this week in Spain and is expected to wrap in late September. I find this a bit shocking. Is this normal for an Anderson film?

ReplyCopy URLAugust 16, 2021 at 1:23 am #1204398794Since this wraps in September, it will likely come out next year. Margot Robbie will have 3 possible awards contenders in 2022: the DOR film, Babylon, and Anderson’s movie.

He’s never worked with Hanks. It might be the performance that allows the Academy to finally recognize actors in his sprawling ensembles.
