Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino, Damien Chazelle, and now Wes Anderson. And she’ll also be directed by Greta Gerwig in the Barbie movie. Robbie’s role is apparently supporting. I wonder how big her role is, especially considering Babylon only started filming last month and Anderson’s movie starts shooting this month.

According to the article, filming started this week in Spain and is expected to wrap in late September. I find this a bit shocking. Is this normal for an Anderson film?

Since this wraps in September, it will likely come out next year. Margot Robbie will have 3 possible awards contenders in 2022: the DOR film, Babylon, and Anderson’s movie.

He’s never worked with Hanks. It might be the performance that allows the Academy to finally recognize actors in his sprawling ensembles.
