I raised a similar question for the 00’s based on a hypothetical backlast to the 1999 nominees, but having really gotten into researching the critical response to Boyz n the Hood, that film got me thinking of what would happen to the Best Picture nominees in an alternate 10 film timeline. Once again, I recommend looking to nominations to decide what the other 5 nominees each year should be.
