Anna Paquin not being able to get any words out and then suddenly getting articulate would be mine.

Lupita’s well-spoken, touching and inspiring speech literally gave me life

Denzel Washington and his shoutout to Sidney Poitier was my favorite speech ever. “I’ll always be following in your footsteps, there’s nothing I would rather do sir.

    What a moment

Good question. Tom Hanks’ for his best role Philadelphia still gets me. Adrian Brody is another. I’m sure I’m forgetting a few obvious ones.

Sam Rockwell (I worked at a summer stock theater company with him and it was surreal seeing him win-and it was a good speech)

    Colin Firth

    Both of Frances McDormand’s

Michael Caine for Cider House Rules

Roberto Benigni (that’s as much about his reaction)

    Viola Davis

    Lupita Nyong’o

Adrian Brody. Genuine, unprepared, and sublimely delivered.

Still one of the best upsets the Oscars have ever delivered.

Lupita had a great message and is always articulate, but hers is interesting to me because she comes from big $$$$ hehehe

I might think some others later, but Olivia Colman’s was really something. She clearly wasn’t expecting it, which helped make it so good. She was going through so many emotions that made it both heartwarming and hilarious.

Cuba Gooding Jr. going nuts with shoutouts is also a great watch.

And Jack Palance doing push-ups onstage will never get old.
