What I’m asking for specifically is what event rather horrific or terrific or someone’s life rather horrific or terrific should be told. Like for example. It was a biography about Sixto Rodriguez, a musician who had no idea that his music was loved by millions. I think that aside from the biography about him, his story would make an excellent movie.
So now im asking you! What story NEEDS to be told?

March 2, 2020 at 1:23 pm #1203367181I can’t believe the movie the Black Count based on the life of Alexandre Dumas’ father, has still not been made. I read the book and thought this would make such a good movie.
It’s a unique situation and his story has been overlooked.

Just focus on the people whose lives were lost on that fateful day. Make it big budget. Ensemble cast. Award-winning cinematography, film editing, sound, etc.
I said what i said.

Buddy, I understand where you are coming from but you worded it very wrong with the “badass cinematography” part. Nothing was badass about 9/11 but i understand where you want a tragic and very real feeling movie about the horrific event.

March 2, 2020 at 4:53 pm #1203367711Awww ok. I apologize for wording it wrong. I mean we have movies about great real-life tragedies all the time. I don’t expect this movie to come out anytime soon (maybe another 10 years), but it is a story that will be a hit if done right.
It’s just all of the 9/11 movies I have seen either weren’t big enough or didn’t focus on the tragedy itself.
Anyway, yeah. That’s my opinion.

OUATIH used Sharon Tate and the Manson family as mere backdrops in service of a bigger story. But you’re right, it is a story worth telling, especially after the horrible Haunting of Sharon Tate movie

Why can’t we just get a legitimate Sharon Tate biopic instead?
One that focuses on her life and career and who she was beyond her tragic murder because her story has never really been told 🙁-
