Obviously, there are films almost everybody agrees on whether they liked them or not. Though at the same time, you also just can’t please everybody. One can say they didn’t like said film as much as everybody else. However, there are some films that have such opposite opinions from people.
Which is the question I’m asking in this thread. What’s a film everybody loves, but you just personally hate with all your heart?
My answer is easy, and that is Moulin Rouge!. I literally cringe every time someone expresses their passionate love for that film. I personally couldn’t stand it so much, that’s it’s one of the few films out in the world that I just would like to burn every single copy in existence.

Whenever I match with a guy on Tinder who says he loves movies in his profile it’s almost a 100% guarantee that Fight Club will be his favorite one, either that or Shawshank Redemption or Dark Knight, it’s this unavoidable Reddit fav. I’d be blown flat on my ass if they said something like idk Jules and Jim or Talk to Her. I liked Fight Club when I first saw it when I was like 13 but now I can barely stand to watch it or read that overplayed quote about buying things we don’t need etc. on someone’s Facebook status.

Of course I didn’t hate it, but I definitely have many problems with Stalker by Tarkovsky.
Lion. Unbereable movie.
Antichrist by Lars von Trier but again, it’s a very divisive movie.
