"The Good Fight", "The Other Two" and "Station Eleven" in all categories, Sarah Lancashire ("Julia"), William Jackson Harper ("Love Life") and Luke Kirby ("The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel")

I remember Thank God It’s Friday being pretty horrible, too, but at least it has kitsch value 40 years later.
ReplyCopy URLFebruary 16, 2021 at 7:32 pm #1204045496I’m not sure if you are talking about winner of best picture or in any category in general. Having said that I still can’t pass over “Crush” winning over “ Brokeback Mountain” or “The Artist” winning best movie. Compared to the Artist, Roma was like “2012 the sequel”.

DC destroying my soul… one movie at a time.

ReplyCopy URLFebruary 16, 2021 at 7:55 pm #1204045530Worst Oscar winning film is a tie between GreenBook and Birdman. Both are horrible films.

ReplyCopy URLFebruary 16, 2021 at 8:14 pm #1204045552I’ve actually seen every Oscar winning film from “Wings” to “Parasite,” as well as every winner in the acting categories. The one film that doesn’t hold up at all is “Going My Way.” It’s saccharine and stereotyped. The moment when those street thugs suddenly sing as as an angelic choir is the worst scene in an Oscar winning film.
