I’ve actually seen every Oscar winning film from “Wings” to “Parasite,” as well as every winner in the acting categories. The one film that doesn’t hold up at all is “Going My Way.” It’s saccharine and stereotyped. The moment when those street thugs suddenly sing as as an angelic choir is the worst scene in an Oscar winning film.

Les Miserables, the nauseous scourage of Tom Hooper (2012). A movie where nearly every shot choice makes me cringe and physically made me ill watching it. It’s worse than his Cats, and why the hell would anyone let him direct another musical to begin with.

Crash!  Won in 2005 over Brokeback Mountain, Munich, Good Night &  Good luck, and Capote. Not to mention the not-nominated for best pictures in 2005- Hustle & Flow, Walk the Line, Tsotsi, The Constant Gardener, Match Point, or Joyeux Noel.  All of which I’ve seen multiple times but only saw Crash once, in the theater no less.

They said the worst Oscar winning movie. That movie did not win an Oscar for best picture.

Hands down – Best Picture it’s either THE ARTIST or BIRDMAN.  Slept thru both of them 3 times each and still can’t get thru to the end.  If you’re talking just any category and the grand-daddy winner of them all — it’s last years Best Picture – PARASITE.  To me, this film shows man’s totally distasteful side of existence.  I’ve watched the film once – I will never ever watch it again.  This was a case where Oscar wanted to over-compensate for short sightedness and looked over several other very fine films.

I don’t trust anyone who said Parasite is the worst Best Picture winner. It has to be a tie between Shakespeare in Love and Crash for me.

Marty was the worst Best Picture winner in my opinion.
