For those of you who aren’t on Letterboxd, there’s a feature where you can display whatˆs your Top 4. It can be an all-time Top 4 or a current one.

I was wondering what’s yours ? And if you don’t have Letterboxd, what would be your Top 4.

When I had an all-time Top 4, it was :

Blue is the Warmest Color, Abdellatif Kechiche.

    Mustang, Deniz Gamze Erguven

Persepolis, Marjane Satrapi & Vincent Paronnaud

All about Eve, Joseph L. Mankiewicz

Currently, my Top 4 is :

    White Material, Claire Denis

The Worst Person in the World, Joachim Trier

    Benedetta, Paul Verhoeven

    The Matrix, The Wachowski Sisters

I also change them all the time. Not really my top four of all time but definitely up there.

Great thread! Of the 900+ films I’ve seen, these are the four that have resonated with me the most:

My username is an acronym of “Quiet On Set! Lights, Camera, Action.” 🎥

At the end of every month I update my Letterboxd profile and bookmark the top four I’ve watched in the last 30 days. These are the four best ones I’ve seen in December:
    The wages of fear (1953)
    Soy Cuba (1964)
They shoot horses, don’t they? (1969)
    Farewell my concubine (1993)
