In light of Judi Dench being nominated over Caitriona Balfe despite the former not getting any major precursor nods and the latter getting all of the major precursor nods, I’d like to post a thread discussing occasions like this.
Have this ever happened before? Where someone gets most if not all major precursor nods, only to be snubbed in their category for a different performance in the same film?

There was nothing wrong with Scarlett’s performance in Jojo Rabbit. I did she did a good job.
