    3. Kirsten Dunst. Why isn’t she nominated for anything yet? Did her time come and pass? I refuse to believe it.

Because all of the good roles that she’s up for are offered to Elisabeth Moss first.

I think Elisabeth Moss will win the Oscar on her first nomination.

This. I think that if she really wants one, she can get it. She just needs more baity roles in more mainstream films. I’m kinda happy she doesn’t really care though, we can fully appreciate the extent of her range.

Sadly, Dunst will probably never win. Or at least, never in the Best Actress category. I love her and she deserved every award for Melancholia, deserved a BA nod for Marie Antoinette, a BSA nod for Eternal Sunshine. I think her future’s on TV and she’s doing really good there (Fargo was one of her best performances and she’s great in OBAGICF). Dunst’s also reaaally eager for awards and quite vocal about it, I think it affects her chances.

Moss is not winning, bros. Scientology stigma. It matters. She’s talented af but that’s a big stain and a lot of people actually care about that stuff.

I agree and disagree. The stigma’s hard af but she’s won two GG and one Emmy. Also, being a scientologist never prevented Tom Cruise to get nominated three times.

TV is less elitist and Cruise never won. I’m just saying that there’s something about it. The organization/church/cult/sect/whatever is too vilified and that rubs off on people who don’t even make executive decisions (though Cruise is quite high up the ladder but Moss isn’t so it shouldn’t affect her but bias is bias).

Joel Edgerton. He’s so underrated yet a talented person. He’s like Bradley Copper.  He directs, he writes, he produce and he act plus a red carpet stunner.

New day so I can say…. Tom Cruise. After Brad and Leo, it’s his turn. Then Matt Damon.

I just love movies. And awards.

I’m not sure if Greta Gerwig counts, but I’d love to see her win for acting.

After that horrific performance at the Oscars 2020, Janelle Monae better stay far far away from any televised show. I’m positive that viewership started to drop like a stone during the torture porn that was her opening number.

Sarah Paulson seems primed to win the second she gets the right role. I think Kerry Washington didn’t blow up quiet the way everyone thought she would after Scandal (she did admittedly get married and have a couple kids) but hopefully little fires everywhere will put her back on top – although I don’t have high hopes as it looks kinda bad
