Loved every interview she did.
She is in the Lisa Joy movie and I’m very excited for her. Maybe a 2nd Oscar nomination is coming?

September 10, 2020 at 6:21 pm #1203698158Shohreh Aghdashloo was a shocker? In what world?
She didn’t get nominated for any precursors. Before the Oscar nominations she was only a Critics and Spirit Awards thing. She shouldve won but her nomination was definetly not a slam dunk.

But Shohreh Aghdashloo was the best/most deserving one for me. What a performance. And then Laura Dern comes close for being so memorable with so little screentime in Wild.

So did Ethan Hawke (“First Reformed”) and look how that turned out

Girl, I literally said she was only a critics thing before the nominations – which includes her wins at LAFCA and NYFCC. And please…just because you win those critics doesn’t mean you’re getting nominated for an Oscar. Her nomination was a surprise from the point she didn’t get nominated for any precursor.

At least she was in the Awards Conversation compared to the other women listed in the poll who literally had NOTHING with them going to the Oscars.
