Black Swan isn’t this decade, folks.

Stone, Lawrence, Davis. (Ronan and Blanchett just outside. Bullock and Adams are very big, too.)

Unfortunately Jennifer Lawrence. She won an Oscar, has two successful franchises, and at one point was very popular.

Octavia Spencer because she was in every movie ever made in the 2010s.

Viola Davis defines “actress”. She’s won it all. “The Help” and “Fences” were two signature roles.

Kind of surprised by the Spencer talk. Yes, she’s a great actress but she hasn’t even really led a film yet. I feel like to be a defining actress of the decade you have to have at least led multiple films. That’s just my opinion, though.

Jennifer Lawrence is definitely at the top of the list, considering she’s had an impactful presence since the beginning of the decade, with Hunger Games and the Oscar win (2nd Oscar nomination) and then continuing appearing in major films almost every year.

If Ma is a hit and she gets a 4th nomination for Luce this year, I think she’ll be a part of the top 3. But since these films aren’t out, I agree we can’t say she’s higher than Amy Adams or Natalie Portman yet.

    1) Jennifer Lawrence (4 Oscar nominations, 3 films nominated for BP, lead actress in two big Hollywood franchises, 2nd youngest Best Actress winner, starred in films that will be remembered as iconic and for generations such as American Hustle, highest paid actress a few years running)
    2) Emma Stone (3 Oscar nominations, 4 films nominated for Best Picture, star of a film that will be remembered for eternity, La La Land (for which she won Best Actress), starred in iconic films such as Birdman and The Favourite (which will be remembered for generations), starred in the Amazing Spider Man films, The Help (another film remembered for generations), played Billie Jean King. Starred in a hit Netflix miniseries, Maniac. Highest paid actress one year)
    3) Amy Adams (Lois Lane, 6 time Oscar nominee (2/3 of which were this decade), starred in an iconic classic film, Arrival. Also starred in American Hustle (which will be remembered for a while). Like Stone, turned to television for a miniseries. Five films nominated for Best Picture)
    4) Saoirse Ronan (3 Oscar nominations, 0 wins, have 3 movies nominated to BP, second youngest actress to get to 4 Oscar nominations)
    5) Viola Davis (2 Oscar nominations and 1 win; have 3 movies nominated for BP, triple crown of acting)
    6) Margot Robbie (1 Oscar nomination, have 2 films nominated for BP, notable for various blockbuster hit and critical success roles such as Tonya Harding and Harley Quinn, grossed 2,213,000,000 worldwide, various guild and other awards nominations for roles such as Elizabeth I in Mary Queen of Scots)

Jennifer Lawrence is top on the list. She opened a successful franchise : Hunger Games. I would not credit X-men franchise because it’s an ensemble cast. Having 4 Oscar nominations and a win. Lately her movies are flops but I think she can bounce back. She is very talented.  She needs to step out of her comfort zone ( try on different materials ). Another advantage, she can produce her own movies.

Emma Stone – part on the list with 1 Oscar win – 3 nominations. 1 musical movie hit with Ryan Gosling. Her other hit movies were ensemble cast. I would like to see her open a movie hit or a franchise under her belt. I would not count Spider-Man ( Spider-Man movies are always a blockbuster hit )

Saoirse Ronan – good to great actress with 3 Oscar noms but not yet —-  a movie star. I would love to see her open a blockbuster movie. She is young and has many years ahead of her.

Rooney Mara – 2 Oscar noms with 1 movie hit : a franchise that did not take off. She needs another meaty roles ASAP.

Margot Robbie – 1 Oscar nom with 2-3 blockbuster movies in an ensemble cast. Waiting for Harley Quinn.

Emma Watson – Oscar-less but definitely a Movie Star with Harry Potter series ( part of trio of well-beloved franchise ) and Beauty and the Beast. Her popularity echoes from West to East. She is young and has many chances to prove herself as a good actress ( currently pre-occupied with other things ) . Let’s wait and see “ Little Women” if she can get a nomination.

Brie Larson – 1 Oscar win with a waiting blockbuster ( Captain marvel ) – Thanks to Marvel and the up-coming series of Avengers movies. I hope she can open a franchise without any Marvel in it.

Alicia Vilkander – 1 win with 2 Blockbuster movies in an ensemble cast. Fail to take off Tom Raider franchise. She can make a comeback.

I will put Viola Davis/Amy Adams in different categories. Viola Davis is a triple crown actress. Amy Adams is mostly nominated among the young lovely ladies above. Sandra Bullock – is a movie star. Cate Blanchett is a great actress.

You basically copied your original account’s post and then deleted that post because we caught you. We aren’t dumb lol. We see you mixing up lists, having the same British theme/fetish, and liking your account’s other posts and everything. If you’re going to troll us, we’re going to troll you.
