Personally, it really, really ticks me off that Goldie Hawn has an Oscar while Peter O’Toole and Richard Burton went to their graves as Oscar’s biggest losers.
Oh, cruel Hollywood!

God awful performances; Lacking in complexity whatsoever and very bland.

I mean you have Emmanuelle Riva in Amour, Naomi Watts in The Impossible, Jessica Chastain in Zero Dark Thirty, and Quvenzhane Wallis in Beasts Of A Southern Wild. Gosh. Harvey Weinstein should’ve been accepted her Oscar.

How is Hawn relevant to the fact that O’Toole and Burton didn’t win Oscars? She is female and they weren’t even competing in same categories. I mean I’m also very much upset that they never won but bringing her up in regards to them is weird. Bring up some actor at least.

March 10, 2021 at 2:01 am #1204103144Sandra Bullock. Textbook white saviour trope + truly uneventful nothing performance. Her win makes Goop’s win seem so deserving. How was this underwhelming performance even proposed to be award-contending worthy in the first place anyway? Honestly who started that conversation lol? I know it was known as an extremely weak year for the Best Leading Actress category, and Sandra made undeniable impact in the box office around that time, but still, it’s very puzzling. With this kind of low bar criteria for winning best actress, Meryl Streep should easily be an 20 time Oscar winner.

Edward Norton should have won and i think the reason he didn’t was because the movie was too controversial. His performance was miles ahead of Roberto’s performance

I noticed in every single Goldderby thread everyone loathing on Ingenues win over what so called “Senior Performers”. I think J-Law, Vikander, Whiterspoon and Stone deserved their Oscars.
If you talk about Gwyneth Paltrow, then we are talking
