    DISCUSS

I voted Nomadland because I want to see what is apparently Frances McDormand’s career best performance but I’m also looking forward to Queens Amy, Vanessa and Viola get up to in Ma Rainey, Pieces of a Woman and Hillbilly Elegy!

Ma Rainey and Nomadland. I’m literally so excited for these two. I expect to be snatched and nothing else

I’m also waiting for Hillbilly Elegy but for Glenn, not Amy

I’m honestly shocked you didn’t vote for Pieces of a Woman.

For me it’s also Nomadland. I’ll probably try and see it in the theater if I can find a screening that’s empty or almost empty. Ma Rainey and Hillbilly Elegy are two that I’m somewhat skeptically exited about. I have a feeling both of them may disappoint me.

    I'm back bitches.

Actually, I take that back. I’m not exited for Hillbilly Elegy. Every Ron Howard movie I’ve seen has disappointed me. But I’ll see it anyway.

Well it was hard because I’m excited for all four of Ma Rainey, Nomadland, Pieces of a Woman and Hillbilly because of their performers and I’m rooting for Vanessa to win (even though I may be one of the only ones on here doing so) but I have to say I am intrigued by McDormand’s performance and by her film.

Viola in Fences is one of favorite performances ever so I am definitely most excited for Ma Rainey.

I love mixed-martial arts and Halle playing a fighter in Bruised has me excited. Plus, it is her directorial debut. I’m ready!

Yeah, Music GoldDerby was fun for a while but now it’s just like Post Malone.

Yeah. Hopefully Movie GoldDerby doesn’t get overrun by trolls like Music was.

I used to prefer TV GoldDerby but people on the Movie side have gotten much nicer recently.

I wanna see the visuals to Ma Rainy bad. It gets my vote from that alone.
