Regarding imdb, maybe I’m wrong, but I think everyone can edit it. For HOG somebody edited its imdb page and said that it was premiering at countless fall festivals. I think this was after a tweet that some people misunderstood.

Do you have a source for that? Gerwig listed as uncredited is very strange though. It’s either inaccurate or maybe Baumbach changed some things for the film.

Mildly interesting useless trivia- Adam Driver and Greta Gerwig are playing a married couple, and their children in the film are being played by Sam and May Nivola, who in real life are the son and daughter of White Noise co-star Alessandro Nivola and his wife, actor-writer-director Emily Mortimer.

ReplyCopy URLIn the book Greta’s character is the second most important. There are hardly any other female roles of much significance, so unless Jodie is playing someone who wasn’t in the book or her role gets beefed up, then Greta’s role should definitely be more prominent.

ReplyCopy URLAccording to the film’s IMDB page, Barbara Sukowa is credited as Sister Hermann Marie. I haven’t read the book, so I was wondering if she’s in it. We already know that Raffey Cassidy and Sam and May Nivola are playing the kids, and May is credited as San. Their father, Alessandro Nivola, has a small role in the film.

He explains, “Noah went to their school when he was looking to cast the kids for his film. I’m not shocked about the budget being high because I read in an article it’s reportedly $80 million. Baumbach reportedly changed DP’s mid-shoot, and shooting went on for 9 months.
