Good point re “our generation.” After checking, I see that Jodie Comer is 29 years old, while Emily Blunt is 39 years old. In the original becoming-a-Navy-SEAL GI Jane film, Demi Moore was 33 / 34 years of age at the time of its filming. I hadn’t realised the level of compliment Chris Rock was giving Jada when he suggested her as the new GI Jane, given she’s half a century old and certainly nowhere near the A-Lister that Demi Moore was when cast in the original film.
Despite her bald head, Demi Moore was super beautiful in GI JANE at 33 or 34 years old. So, I choose Emma Watson: super beautiful at 32 years old
ReplyCopy URLYes, that’s the thing: GI Jane has achieved a level of global recognition that it didn’t even achieve at the time of its release – and I think it did fairly good box office at the time, due to Demi Moore’s star power. I imagine that even people who hadn’t heard of the film could now be seeking it out to watch, out of sheer curiosity. So, the likelihood of someone at least considering producing another GI Jane movie has to be fairly high. Which leads to the question: Who ELSE would be in the running for the lead in a GI Jane 2?
Ridley Scott could be One of the Producers. Maybe even The Main Producer. He produces So Much these days It’s Realistic
