January 17, 2022 at 1:30 pm #1204734262Since it’s pretty unlikely Anthony Hopkins would attend the ceremony, I would love to see Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon present Best Actress to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Thelma & Louise.

January 17, 2022 at 9:23 pm #1204735168I just hope that they make some good/unique choices.
Reunions are nice, the suggestion for Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis is something that I think people (I know I would) would enjoy seeing. It was great when they presented together at the Golden Globes a few years ago.
Even though the Oscars are for 2021 films, the ceremony is 2022 and ET turns 40 this year. Having Steven Spielberg present with Henry Thomas, Drew Barrymore and Robert MacNaughton would be a fun reunion to see.
It was great when Zack Gottsagen presented a couple of years ago, this in my opinion was an inspired choice. I hope they think like this for this year’s ceremony.

ReplyCopy URLJanuary 18, 2022 at 1:41 am #1204735337How about having the Bob’s Burgers characters present Best Animated Feature and Short? They’re owned by Disney, and they’re having a movie in theaters this year.
